Breaking school records and placing at states are two dreams every athlete strives for. Senior Krysta Weik and freshman Logan Smith were able to achieve both within one season.
Weik and Smith competed at the state swim meet March 15-16 at Bucknell University.

Many athletes know from a young age that they are extremely passionate about pursuing their athletic career. This was certainly the case for freshman swimmer Logan Smith.

For some teams, it is difficult to keep the momentum going into the post season.
This, however, was not the case for the boys’ and girls’ swim teams when they competed at the L-L League meet on Friday and Saturday at Wilson Aquatic Center.
Overall, the boys’ team placed second and the girls’ team tied for fifth at the meet.

For some athletes, taking the steps to compete in a sport in college can be nerve-racking. Senior swimmer Gabe Deiderick is completely ready to begin his swimming career at the college level.
“I am really excited to take on the challenge of swimming in college,” said Deidrick. “I think it will help me become a better swimmer.”
